This inductee began his athletic career in his native Australia as both a national level gymnast and rugby player prior to his introduction to towed watersports. Initially a three-event skier, He showed an aptitude for high flying in the specialized world of distance ski jumping, a characteristic he brought with him into the world of wakeboarding. His original intent brought him to the States to train for jumping, but almost instantly his passion and dedication was entirely focused on wakeboarding. His learning curve had a celestial trajectory and before long he was ready to battle on the US Pro Wakeboard Tour. In fact, in any competition he entered that is exactly what you got: an intense battle from an athlete prepared with his evenly balanced run of big spins, solid sliding and technical inverts, often executed at near maximum velocity. He became a finals mainstay for several years any time he competed and a perennial Top 5 Finisher on the Pro Wakeboard Tour for years. In 2005, he and his mates announced Australia’s arrival as an international powerhouse sweeping the Top 3 spots on the overall US Pro Wakeboard Tour. He was also constantly pushing the envelope with his riding at home where he honed his front mobe 540 or used his carpenter skills to build all types of rails and sliders, each intended to be like nothing he’d creeated before. It is an honor to welcome in our latest Wakesports Hall Of Fame Inductee, Mr. Brett Eisenhauer!
